What have I been doing since day 1 of block leave?
Trying to experiment with coding for iOS5 notification center.

Few days ago, an author with the name of Shades published SimpleDate for Notification Center. I installed it and yes, it's exactly what I wanted before (as opposed to ClockCenter) BUT with a digital clock like the lockscreen.

Realising that it is open source from github, I decided to work on it by experimenting with Obj-C.

I am glad I had Hackintosh installed on my PC. The following is what I did. Basically, to record a note of what I have done to accomplish it.

Updating Mac OSX Lion
1. Boot to Hackintosh
2. Update Mac OSX Lion 10.7 to 10.7.2 and installed MultiBeast
3. Sound wasn't working
4. Removed HDAEnabler*.kext, ALC8xxx.kext remained
5. Reboot, sound returned (no more sound lag too!)

After updating to 10.7.2, I was then able to install Xcode 4.3 with iOS5.1 SDK (I didn't realised it until I tried to experiment with it on VMware Leopard 10.6). This installs the make bin file too, required to build the .deb from source code.

Then I Googled around, looking for tutorials on how to create a notification center template file to code. First I found is this. The original website is dead so I had to open up the cached version. I followed the tutorial, I was able to get Theos installed fine and then I ran the nic.pl, hell it didn't work.

When I tried to create the notification center template which is based from this. All I get is a package folder with Theos alias. No .m file or any files that has the template. I kept trying but to no avail. Then I redownloaded Theos without getting the notification center nic file and it works. I don't know how it affect but it stayed that way until now.

I gave up as I am unable to find a solution and so I went another way. I downloaded the source code of SimpleDate and immediately build it by using make package. It didn't work. It tells me I need dpkg-deb but I already have it by following the tutorial. So I looked for solution which is MacPort. I downloaded MacPort but didn't know what it does and how it works. Then I came across this website, who gave a really clear-cut tutorial on how to get started on Theos. Also, that's where MacPort came in I guess.

Everything works pretty after - make package as it actually builds the .deb file and I was elated.

Setting Up Compiler and Environment
1. Install Xcode 4.3 w/ iOS5.1 SDK
2. Followed brandontreb.com guide to setup Theos and other tools
3. Ran make package on Shades' SimpleDate source code
4. .deb file compiled
5. Compiler ready

I had ClockCenter source code and SimpleDate source code side by side. Those 2 are the same because Shades stated that he ripped it from ClockCenter. With C++ and C knowledge, I slightly understood Obj-C. With all the initialization and variables, it gave me a nostalgia feeling.

I basically played around to add a digital clock to the SimpleDate Shades created. I managed to do so and the end result is a date with a clock as a compact notification center widget. Oh, the clock auto-updates too by using the NSTimer class.

New Year, POP

Yes I know that I am late in blogging about new year and stuff. That's because I was busy and away. So anyways here's some updates.

3rd November 2011 - I got enlisted into NS, BMTC School 1 (Basic Military Training).
Life inside at the start was rather hectic. However, what's unexpected is that the whole journey was actually a replicate from my dreams and yes it's just DeJaVu. Honestly, everything felt like it happened before. It was really strong. Those pieces of short dreams I had in the past seems to have stitched up by this real experience.

Ok, let me just blog about the reality side. Hectic at the start but I was really enthusiastic. I learn, I participate in all the trainings and the problem comes.

Before I enlisted, I had some injuries on my legs. Shin splint due to flat feet and also an injury on my right knee from standing broad jump in the past.

All these injuries started acting up and I had to go and see a medical officer. Getting those statuses was shitty because I could do nothing and it really sucks. But well, I had to suck it up.

I still managed to finish all the high keys and I POPed without the last P - parade because I have a 6 weeks status which ends at 300112.

Now that I am waiting for my new unit, what I could do now during my 1 week of block leave is to learn some new skills and also head out with friends as much as possible (provided I have the $ of course).

I have updated my iPhone to iOS5 with redsn0w tethered jailbreak yesterday. This entry dedicates to my comments, both complaints and also the love of it.

First of all I have to say that FINALLY they fixed the damn springboard bug like touching a folder and you have to wait some microseconds before the springboard splits and opens up the folder. They fixed that probably due to Newsstand (lol). Yes, Apple I am LOLing at you.

This is what sucks about Apple, if there is any single bug that exists in the iOS, one have to wait for a 'major' update or a 'minor' which usually does nothing.. just like 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 where jailbreakers can get those vulnerabilities closed from Cydia on 4.3.3. Ugh, they and their "if it works, make it sell" kind of slogan.

Anyways, like I said I always loved Android's notification window and they call it notification center in iOS. Installing all sorts of widgets after jailbreaking is definitely the best thing to do. System Info, Battery info, power controls all with a swipe down at the status bar. What I need now is a time and date widget now.. if only I know all about iOS programming, I could have done it myself (just why am I not doing it if I have the expertise??)..

I've tried the Reminders app, pretty fail because it just lack too much. Unlike Things app where one can set recurring event which suits my lifestyle.

As usual I have to say - without jailbreak, iOS is a total piece of shit (lol).

With that said of course, I'd hope that an untethered jailbreak will be released in a few hours later after the release of it because the Chronic-Devs have found vulnerabilities on the bootrom and user-land side.

The only thing I am looking forward in iOS 5 is the notification center. I have always loved how Android has it and it is definitely the best way to handle notifications. Also, being jailbroken, developers can create tons of widgets for it which obviously is way better. There are already a few, for example RSSWidget, Twitter, SBSettings, UISettings - all in which a user should have.

Another to look forward to is the software side updates - the internals I mean. Bug fixes, performance updates and all, with performance being the priority.

The downside of upgrading immediately is the compatibility problems - both maybe App Store Apps and also jailbreak tweaks. But I foresee that they will all be updated very swiftly.

It seems like after changing my front screen to white and replacing my old cracked screen in the midst, I have this sense of good feel. Because of that good feel, I went to replace my old back screen protector where it's filled with scratches to a new mirror back protector.

Yes, I have been on a drama marathon. Watching Haven, Fringe, Alphas and Japanese dramas like BOSS.

Well, I just watched the finale of Alphas Season 1 (Another SyFy drama like Haven). Questions and questions, really a lot of it just pops in my mind.

I am just going to make this entry short. So, the finale ends with Dr. Rosen telling the public about the existence of Alphas and then Stanton Parish was with Dr. Rosen's daughter. Stanton Parish said "This just got complicated." and Danielle replied "I've warned you.". Huh? So Danielle knows about Stanton Parish all along?

I wonder what's gonna happen to the team of Alphas now that Dr. Rosen made it public.

Oh and another thing, the character that I am most interested in, with all the crude and funny jokes, is Gary the transducer. I mean his way of communication is both funny and 'annoying' plus straightforward, really straight.

I am glad it's renewed for a Season 2 in 2012. I can't wait for the renewal of Haven too!

All these shows just keeps me busy, that's what I do I guess.

BOSS Season 2 Finale

I finished watching ボスシーズン2 (BOSS Season 2) yesterday.

I can't believe I finished watching this drama where I wasn't so on about watching it before.

Masami Kimoto (木元真実) - Erika Toda (戸田恵梨香) who is one of my favourite actress appeared only in the last 3 episodes.

The last case was rather straightforward. It is about a CD with encrypted data that needs to be decrypted so as to find out the mastermind. I prefer the rest of the per-episode cases, love those twists.

I think there are a few new soundtrack which I don't know where to find..

Really, every time I watch Japanese dramas, I always get that bonded feeling within the actors and actresses. They all cooperate really well.

Japanese dramas usually end at Season 2 so I doubt there will be a sequel for this drama, but I still hope there will be. Love those faces.

Self-Repair iPhone

My White iPhone 4 parts came in today and also the white button w/ flex (which means I bought 2 white buttons). It's hilarious because I ordered the tools first but ended up the parts came in first.

With the parts, the urge to replace my front broken screen is so strong. Therefore, after having lunch outside and checking something I went home and started to prepare in replacing the parts.

Because there are really lots of different types of screws, I took a blank paper and labelled the different individuals so that I won't mix them up together.

I will just upload pictures in which it will tell the steps I did.

The whole procedure is really fun. But the reverse is absurd! I really encountered lots of problem putting back the screws because my screwdriver ain't magnetic and they are all so small! However, I magnetized it with a magnet and my job is a whole lot simpler afterwards.

I am glad that my proximity sensor works now. The few headaches are that the back cover which comes with it isn't really fitting and the camera glass cover have scratches all over. So with that scratches, the camera couldn't capture a good photo anymore plus my dad left a small crack after forcing it close (because I told him it wasn't fitting).

Because I changed the home button to white also, the flaw is that it's not aligned center. Looks really really weird and obvious. I would probably align it back when my proper tools comes. Sigh, I thought it was all good.

BOSS J-Drama

Synopsis
This series revolves around a group of peculiar detectives in a new division created to fight against an increase in atrocious crimes. I always love how JDramas with the theme of detective cases end up with some twist as the case winds up. The last 2 episodes had me fooled, really.

Well I am glad I watched it, the casts are really great and not to forget Toda Erika as a refresher (for me).

End of Haven Season 2

I have just finished watching the season finale episode of Haven and the cliff is really high for this one.

Audrey was making pancakes, someone came to her apartment earlier than Nathan, and after she opens the door. Bam, she's tasered. My best guess of the culprit who tasered her would be Agent Howard. One who I think no one has thought of. Who else would have the taser other than the police/FBI? Well, someone could probably steal one but Agent Howard was the only suspicious character so far I've seen starting from Season 1. Oh and one more thing, Season 1 ended up with an Audrey-injected memory FBI came into the scene so maybe Season 2 would be the same, as in it has something to do with the FBI?

Then the whistle found in Audrey's apartment made Nathan thought that Duke was the culprit. I am pretty sure Duke wouldn't be the culprit unless the blood he absorbed from Kyle made him someone else he doesn't know of and he went doing things unconsciously. But still he wouldn't be the one...

Other questions I have are:
"Where the hell would Audrey be now?"
"How would Duke react to all this?"
"The gunshot from the last scene, who would get hurt or maybe none at all?"
"What has Vince and Dave got to do with all these?"
"Now that Vince and Dave are of opposite side, what would Dave do to Vince if he tries to help Audrey?"

Here I am going to post about Haven TV series again.

Well, I've finally caught up to the latest episode. What's sad is I didn't know that season 2 is ending soon with just 2 more episodes 12 and 13.

Having watched this far, I must say it does have some similarities with Fringe. For the main story, Haven calls it 'troubles' while Fringe calls it 'pattern' (or does all US TV series are like that? Sorry as far as I know I've only watched Fringe, Heroes and Haven - all which has to do with the kinds where it's impossible to happen in reality.)

Episode 11 ends with Duke finding the answers after opening a bigger box where his father kept secretly. Simon's diary stated that Duke must finish his task in which is to kill Audrey. Now for that it posed serious loads of questions. Anyways, Duke's trouble must be that when he absorbs an afflicted person's blood, he will become stronger. So maybe if somehow he comes in contact with Audrey's blood, something will happen (The promo in episode 12 looks like Audrey got stabbed or something :O)? I don't know, just my two cents.

Side topic. Everytime when I watch Haven or Fringe, I have this urge to look at the actors' and actresses' body language. I don't know it just naturally make me do it.

Haven season 2 is ending in 2 more episodes. I wonder if there will be a season 3? I really hope so cause I don't want such an awesome show to end just like that. What's worse is that there isn't any discussion around about it...

Social world?

I didn't thought about myself that I would be thinking about this question: "What is my greatest fear?"

Well seriously, the answer to that will be "Fear that my words could be outcasted, fear that my words could hurt people, fear that my words didn't mean anything." The common thread here is "words". Sucks at socialising? Yeah, you got that right.

If it means anything, everyone has fears and someone gotta come by and help you succumb that fear. Who would it be? Just who? Don't know. I was a fate believer, but now? More like 50-50. You see, right now I believe that fate is greatly connected with changes. Obviously, changes are hard, really hard and we all afraid of changes because we don't want to step out of our comfort zone. If that particular you is currently moving forward, you change the surrounding with that personality or what you have. If you change, you move forward as that way. It's like being an introvert and no one knows you and suddenly you became an extrovert and you are the center of attraction. Would you like to call those people who you've attracted or connected - fate? Maybe? It's all inside one person.

Back to myself. And I will talk about domino effects. Sometimes I didn't really understand but if it has to be socialising, it either comes naturally or it happens based on a domino effect. One comes and many other follows - that is what I meant.

It just all seems strange, sometimes.

Yea, anything has to do with supernatural or extraordinary or 'special' just seems to interest me, a lot..

I've spent pretty much the whole day today just to watch Haven Season 1 from episode 5 to the final episode, which is episode 13. And that took umm 7 hours.

The bed was the answers for my body after that as I took a nap for 1 and a half hour.

Well yeah, I couldn't stop watching.. as there's just too many questions about this drama lurking in my head and I want the answers.

And here I go, continuing with Season 2 and nearly catching up with the latest broadcasted episode. Can't deny it alright.

The front screen of my iPhone has been broken again by the Hazeline bottle on the 16th September. By again, I mean that this is the second time. My blog was dead before so I did not post it up about it. The first crack was that my iPhone slipped out from my pocket while I was exiting my dad's vehicle and it hit the concrete stone floor where cars moves.

My initial reaction was ARGH and I tweeted in full caps and was swearing about it. However, less than 30min, I was cooled off and now currently still using it like nothing has ever happened. The crack wasn't so bad compared to previous one as it didn't hinder much of the visual part of the LCD.

Next I thought, if I have to bring to 3rd party mobile phone shops to repair this screen, it will cost another S$160 to S$180. Fuck that yea. So I decided to look for alternative and that is DIY! After researching much, I realised the replaced screen wasn't even original. There is actually a little gap in between the silver frame and the front assembly plus the proximity sensor does not work, lol. With that kind of price for repair, they earn about S$130. Well I know it's business, but what the heck as a consumer we want lowest as possible. Ugh, the fucking irony. Oh another thing, I actually wanted to bring back the phone to telco to replace my current unit with another one due to the battery dying out and also my home button is totally unresponsive. As for the fact that my warranty is left with a month. But screw that as it's pointless to replace now. Just another irony.

So I already bought the parts and tools. All I have to do is to wait for it to ship here and I can start replacing - to WHITE! Heh.

Oh yes, the gap that I was talking about. Front compared to back. Probably not so obvious to the camera, but it's really obvious to the naked eye. And because of that I was kind of afraid to let my phone comes in contact with water, even just the surface.

At about 1330, my dad called me asking if I want to have lunch then he brought me to Mayflower Eating House at Blk 59 New Upper Changi Road. We had 烧肉饭.

After lunch, I stayed at home for a while to browse the net and saw the news about Borders Marine Parade closing down today. Well, honestly the Borders outlet at Wheelock Place - I been there only ONCE and it got closed down after. Sadly, I didn't even been to the outlet at Marine Parade before because I didnt knew there is!

I only know about Kinokuniya through my friend and had bought a number of books from this bookstore. Oh and times too.

Upon reaching, I was hoping to find the books that I want because of the sales. But all I see was just empty shelves and old books. Those that was seen during the last massive sale at EXPO.

So after exiting the outlet, I went around Marine Parade to look for eye candy. There were a few. Then I bought KOI Milk Tea at 50% sugar. I am not a regular and I never liked such drinks because I just don't know why it just makes me damn thirsty after drinking. Basically I just don't like the over-sweetness, and I guess it's catered to sweet tooth people like the girls lol.

Fringe S04E01

I downloaded the 720p version of Fringe Season 4 Episode 1 which broadcasted yesterday on FOX and I just watched it minutes ago. This show's just as intriguing as ever! And yep, the opening theme music gives me goosebumps endlessly.

It's ORANGE! Just love how they change it in accordance to the episode previously (for season 3).

Those questions that pop up in my head right after watching one episode always make me wish that the next episode is just the day after.

As the 2 universes are connected to each other now, Peter has 'vanished' from the world and the characters' memories. This makes the show even more refreshing!

Now I really can't wait for the next episode next week..

I was going through my subscribed feeds yesterday on Google Chrome and I browsed through one of the feeds that caters to downloads. Then I saw this US TV show titled Haven. The title intrigued me.

So I went around looking for the synopsis about the show and I saw the word 'supernatural'. I was interested almost immediately. I downloaded S01E01 and watched this first episode and I have to say it's just great. They have cheeky and humourous script and the story is just my type. I hope the following episodes that I am going to watch will continue to make me feel intrigued so I have something to do before my enlistment!

Hachiko: A Dog's Story

I was watching Hachiko: A Dog's Story the other day because my mom was watching it on PPTV iPad and would like to accompany her to watch. But I ended up watching it alone.

I am Kinesthetic, which means I feel more than Hearing and Seeing, and for that what I see and hear are translated into deep feelings. Because I am Kinesthetic, it's obvious that I am the emotional type.

I have always cried on Japanese and Taiwanese romance dramas and those emotions are the one I can subtly control. I can try not to cry but I will still shed some tears.

However, this movie was emotionally groundbreaking for me. The instrumental pieces of music and the expressions on the dog gave me that deep emotions. Honestly, I couldn't control myself and my tears just kept flowing like a broken tap. The part that delve me deeper was the scene where Cate headed back to the station after visiting Parker's grave and saw Hachi. That hug and the words she convey - touching, totally.

I am sure people would know the story of this loyal dog. Wiki it and you shall find out (if you don't that is).

Felt Like Incommunicado

This entry is for those who thinks I am just another dumb (yes, all definitions apply according to Dictionary.com) person.

Yes, I admit that I suck at communicating with people face to face. Yes, I admit that I may have problems as judged from the external.

My dad always tell me whenever I respond to him, I have the rude intent. Is it?

Some of those reasons are explainable from my side. Okay so when it comes to text communication, I would usually try to prolong one conversation no matter what. Ended up what happens? The other party stops first and I really hate that to happen. For this, I am just following the flow this time round.

Talking about face-to-face communications and this is where I am bad at. Here I am trying to self-enrich so I can speak somewhat better and upon learning the skills, I realised I don't have someone new that I know of to apply it.

Sure opening up a conversation is as easy as using the open words like Who, What, When, Where, Why and How but directing such questions to ladies will lead me thinking extra like "Okay, how can I humour her?", "How can I be interesting?", etc.. I apply too much logic to conversations maybe until to the point it felt anti-climax inside me. It totally shatters my will to talk. Because of being logical, I am characterised to think 2-3 times before I do ANYTHING, that includes communication (Chinese idiom calls it 三思而行).
My past has that hate-everyone-to-the-core attitude (愤世嫉俗) and this is probably why I have a hard time. I have already abolished this attitude and trying hard to change for the better. Also there's this situation whereby when my throat gets dry, I won't have any intention to talk at all.

I am a Kinesthetic person, saying that it means I feel more than listen and see and I alter what I see and listen into feelings (This is why I love Trance music so much). Is that any good? Maybe. My research tells me that Kinesthetic people are SLOW.

Can I change or get rid of those shortcomings? It may appear that my change was a little forward, but here I am thinking that it all went back down to default again.

This is yet another of my entry. It's been sometime since I wrote my feelings.

Just last week Friday, the long awaited car renting plan succeeded. My bro helped me to rent the car and it was a Toyota Axio 1.6L Auto.

Yep, that's the car alright, looking good to drive. Enthuasiasm befalls on me and I was so ready to drive. My bro helped me recalls the basics of driving and also telling me the functions of the car.

After which I drove my parents to Bedok Reservoir Shing Song supermarket to buy some groceries and snacks.

It was a great drive. The only problem was the roads where there are many I am not sure of. Indeed, driving and taking a bus to understand the roads is very different. Good thing is that I have the ability to read maps and also having a good sense of direction.

With my phone, I was able to browse the maps to check out the roads. Of course, just by looking at the map would usually result in confusion cause it ain't 'really' the same but to overcome that is to head to that area and explore. Also thank Google Street View for the big assistance.

For Saturday, I actually drove to SP to attend the SPinnovex closing ceremony. I didn't tell my friends about it until the very end.

Ok, talk about the closing ceremony. It's nothing much but some prize presentation and also showing which projects had what award. And there was buffet. Seriously, the buffet has improved by 180 degrees. The food finally have tastes and it ain't bland anymore, just awesome. The last buffet I had in school was super shitty that was what I remember.

Then while eating, I told my friends that I drove to school. As one of my friend was injured, I had the intention to ferry him home. End up driving 2 of my friends home after.

While on the way home I actually got lost twice because I drove on the wrong road. Still, I've always heeded my dad's advice: "If you drove to the wrong place, just head it straight, don't think twice." If there's a way in, there's always a way out. Dropped one of my friend outside his house and one at the MRT.

For Sunday, I drove my parents to NEX Mall at Serangoon. As my dad knew the route, I was able to drive there with my dad as the navigator. NEX is pretty much a nice mall, WAY better than Bedok Point that is.

Nothing much on Monday as I had to return the car soon. Only thing was that I did some exploration after driving my mom to grandma's house.

Very good experience and the only thing I don't like is the parking. It's really hectic and I couldn't do the things I want to do at ease. Why? Because I had to keep looking at the car to see if anyone is coming to check on the coupons. Well, I did put coupon but the thing is that no one would be putting coupons for 24 hours .. ain't? Because of that I had to drive the car during midnight just for the sake of 'don't waste'. Fuel is also another problem, those money indeed fly away fast before you can even think of what you want to use the money for. lol.

Gah, I seriously have to blog in order to keep track of my doings.. I feel lost and my memories are unsorted in my head.

During the last 3 weeks of holidays, I have definitely met the goal I wanted.

Going out often is what I needed and thanks to my friends, I was able to do so during the first 2 weeks.

Then also in the first week, my WoW account got activated and the Cataclysm expansion was bought online thanks to my sis! As usual, the word 'addiction' never took prey on me. With the game able to play, I was still able to accept any kinds of outing.

Levelled 2 characters to 85 within a week. Really, I was able to start and stop this game without much problems. Just happy that I am able to do that.

Also, in the third week of the holidays, I completed one of my module MiniProject report within 2 days - that feeling was strikingly breezy. That perserverance in me never dies!

Then on some other day, as I was browsing the web, I thought of searching for something to watch and went back to the nice site, YellowCinema. The logo of Athena: Goddess of War (아태나) appeared on the main site with raws and subs. I went holy shit finally there's something to watch. Watching till episode 2, saw this lady at the last part of the scene. She... gave me a different light compared to other idols like Kim Tae Hee.. so yes, she is 이지아 (Lee Ji Ah).

As per normal me, I went to wiki about her to look at her bio and filmography and she's new! I saw that she acted in Beethoven Virus (베토벤 바이러스). Went to download this drama and in the midst of downloading, I continued watching Athena. It's always drama fever alright.. Once the download was complete, I watched Beethoven Virus whole day long. Emotions, feel, energy and thoughts all poured out while I watched this drama.

Also, the funny thing is I realized this was the drama that one of my friend recommended me to watch long ago but I couldn't find links to download. Torrenting it will be super slow due to seedless torrents. So, it's all thanks to YellowCinema.

It's not just about 이지아 in Beethoven Virus because seriously I love all the casts in that drama. Yes, ALL - the mayor, grandpa who is the oboe player, viola players, flute, cabarat.... it's the instruments and the person and of course, the 3 main casts that's for sure.

After watching Beethoven Virus, went to find out more about 이지아 from YouTube, Google and all. She released a single titled Love Virus (러브 바이러스) and the MV showing her on charity work. After watching that and listening to the song (where the lyrics is written by herself), one word came to my mind - Pure. Though I don't understand the lyrics yet, I'd hope to so that I can understand the way she thinks.

There's also this video on 이지아 where it's about a story of her. In it, there are comments made by people like director and producer and also words from her own. Once I read it (if only I know how to read and understand Korean but I was watching the English version), I feel for her.

Now I left only with "The Legends" and "Style" drama to watch where she is one of the cast.

She acted with much effort in Beethoven Virus and seriously I think she deserve rewards from that but she didn't, sadly.

She will be and definitely another person I am rooting for.

Seems like a long time since I blog as again the same reason, time flies.

Last week Tuesday, on the 9th Nov 2010, I went with dad to NTA (National Taxi Association) to get a new phone. My priority has always been Samsung Galaxy S but ended up choosing iPhone 4.

The reasons are as follow:

Looking through videos I saw lots of Apps that I liked.
Jailbreaking is the only way to make it "open-source".
It is a Linux based kernel which is something I definitely need.
There's flash.
Jailbreaking means leading to customizability, just like what Android/Ubuntu have been.
Lastly, I hate Steve Jobs and his old products. Only disliked the newer products. (Jailbreaking removes his "lock", lol.)

Having said these, I feel that some friends who were around me MIGHT dislike me, some may turn their thoughts or whatever I don't know of.

Galaxy S又はDesire HD?

So with me telling my dad that I really wanted a new phone.. because of all my efforts, my parents decided that they will buy a new phone for me.

At first I thought I had to rely on M1 plan to get a new phone where Galaxy S cost $728(wtf). However and luckily enough, I called up the Singtel customer hotline 1688 to enquire whether if it's possible for a recontract and with some light, it is able to. That means we have two plans able for recontract which means either one can be used to get a new phone.

Yes at first my choice was Galaxy S all the way but after reading all the stupid opinions on the net about GPS problems and LAG, I came out with a conclusion about this phone myself + gave myself another choice which is the Desire HD.

Looking at all the unboxing videos of Galaxy S and videos of this device with lagfix applied, I realized one thing - the processor is definitely better than any of the smartphones out there. Why? Here's why. Developers at xda knew that the lag was due to the older filesystem implemented on the storage device and what this means is that with a stock Galaxy S, right out of the box, the lag is due to processor being damn fast but it has to wait for the filesystem to complete its previous/other tasks. Aint this a simple conclusion of why it lags?

As for GPS problem, it would most likely be the problem with hardware where some devices were affected but not all. Well, I am experiencing the same problem with my current Omnia II so I don't see why people are kicking a fuss over this issue - you can blame the GPS chip provider.

Saying that, this paragraph relates for myself and that is the choice between Galaxy S or Desire HD. When it comes to a mobile gadget and being a trance listener, I will definitely need a gadget that can play music with the ability to change sound effects like equalizer and all. I know Desire HD has the Virtual Dolby SRS, but then again with the experience from my laptop I don't think it will really give a good experience for me.

Pros and Cons that I weigh for my choice:

Galaxy S Pros:

Fast Processor
Super AMOLED
I prefer Touchwiz over HTC Sense
Music Player has a definitely pro in its interface
Good out-of-the-box apps which I require

Cons:

No flash for camera means absolutely no dark room macro shots, however I believe the night mode is good for night landscape photo taking.
GPS problem - I may once in a while play with maps

Desire HD Pros:

Huge screen
Have flash for camera
(Ugh, I can't think of any other pros)

Cons:

POOR BATTERY LIFE - THE USUAL HTC CRAP
HTC Sense UI tends to get a little dull (especially after playing with Android on HD2)
(After looking through videos of this phone) It definitely looks laggy.

Have been playing around with Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick since yesterday and apparently this kind of OS suits me. I can play all my HD videos, listen to music, browse internet, log on to twitter and facebook.

Only downside is that I can't do much of productivities, especially when there's no support for adobe photoshop cs5.

Also, since games are something I hardly play these day, I can stick to Ubuntu until I have a game to play. 笑

Lastly, I just love the font named 'Ubuntu' on Ubuntu.

Also, it seems that this semester is yet another memory work. What I do hate about this semester is that there are quizzes in like week 3, 4 and 5 then week 6 etc. MEMORY WORK IS GONNA KILL ME ONCE AGAIN ARGH.

With just appearance as a minor role in ハンサム・スーツ and the female lead in 天使の恋, I have to admit that she's another cute girl in Japan.

Even though she's a model and she appears more in magazine than in visual media, I must say she looks best in visual media.

Her acting in 天使の恋 made me feel that she's one gentle person. Of course, no one will know an actress/actor's true self from just watching them acting in shows. However from her bio, it shows that she's Capricorn and that makes me think that she's different from any other girls. (Capricorns are seriously rare.)

The gestures and everything of hers in 天使の恋 are really mesmerising, I just like her the way she is - not just being cute!

Well the (edit)SECOND(edit) movie poster definitely is 'attractive', lol. Honestly for me, it was the title that attracted me first.

Plot17 year old high school student Rio (Nozomi Sasaki) is always the center of attention due to her beauty. Yet, Rio has never cared about anyone but herself due to her traumatic past. Her friends and boyfriends exist only so she can use them for her gains. Rio is only interested in money.
Then one day she meets 35 year college professor Kouki and falls in love for the first time. Rio feels confused by her emotional change and expresses her love to Kouki honestly. Although Kouki becomes interested in Rio there is a reason he can't pursue the relationship ...

The actress is ささきのぞみ(佐々木希) - Sasaki Nozomi and I watched this movie after ハンサム・スーツ.

This movie teaches somewhat some value of human life, not fully. But of course, this movie actually shows the power of love which could change one for the better.

The ending should be realistic I guess since from what I know a person who lost memories could get it back in some ways. That's the only thing I can say about this movie.

Anyways because of ハンサム・スーツ and 天使の恋, another actress added to my idol list and that adds up to 3. Besides, comparing Kitagawa Keiko and Sasaki Nozomi, Nozomi has that better cute charm.

So far what I know of is that "다" or what everyone usually heard as "나다" is the stem(ending word to a sentence) for verbs. The Korean sentence structure is SOV(Subject-Object-Verb) just like Japanese, so the presence of "다" is usually appears in quite a few.

Also,
"아요" and "오요" are stem words for nouns.

Ok, back to learning.

Yes, as stated by the title, I rewatched Iris K-Drama and found out that there are a few scenes which I didn't understood now understand.

Like there's one scene where Park Chul Young was captured by Kim Hyun Jun's men, now I understood why he's captured.
There are still a number of scenes where I understood but forgotten which already.

Also I've realized there are also momento scenes (Other than the scenes where Seung Hee and Hyun Jun meet unexpectedly). The ones where all the truth are revealed to the higher (good) authorities are the ones.

One of it is where Hyun Jun, in which after he took the secret car key, met the President and the truth about IRIS is revealed.

Okay this one isn't really about the truth but to give the truth:
Another is where when Sang Hyeon (NSS Section Chief) was arrested for that stupid 'treason' and then Baek Sun and Sa Woo went to look for him in the interrogation room. The way Sang Hyeon tell them off are really.. heartfelt.

There are more, of course - wish I could list them all here as an entry of what I wishes to remember.

Lastly, after rewatching I realized the ending ain't that dumb after all. It seems that it's not about the public commotion where Hyun Jun got assassinated because Lee Byun Hun has to go film the movie GI-Joe.

You see, if watched carefully and gave a thorough thought (which I did), a different opinion or more clear cut analysis will be resulted in.

Looking back at the last action scene in which the South President meets the VIP of the North - Seung Hee, who received a phone call after the mall incident, was actually there to carry out the IRIS 'forced' order (from what I think it should be 'forced'), that is to assassinate the President but instead she killed other terrorists and 'joins' back the good side due to the call by Hyun Jun.

Because Seung Hee disobeyed that order given by the higher authority IRIS organization, she was probably followed and then her loved one was assassinated. Makes sense? たぶん。However, if this question of how was she watched/followed.. obviously the terrorists died and the President lived - which means job not done by Seung Hee and there you go..

Apparently there's a hidden utility.. or maybe not really in Windows Vista/7 that allows for copying multiple files instead of just one.

It's called Robocopy, which can be ran through command prompt 'robocopy'.

Before I slept, I watched this show/movie.

Okay, first of all I was looking at the name that appears and when Erika's name was shown, it gave me a familiar feeling that I saw this name somewhere before.
Right then, I couldn't remember and continued watching the show - much predictable story but still awesome.

だから, now I went to search the name of Erika Sawajiri and found out that she was the one that sang for モップガール J-Drama. Much to the delight of similar names.

Then back to the movie - there's this part where it uses UFO as a lure for the guy by the girl to look out of the window.

Emphasizing on UFO, I think I saw one last night before watching this movie. (Once again, the funny coincidence. Why the hell would anything comes right to my either senses when I am so into that particular topic? Just like how Korean and Japan stuffs were 'all over me' when I am into the languages.)

The UFO was circular shape from what I think it will be, and it has the basic RGB lights which was flickering in the sky. There's this part where it started moving slowly and while the UFO was in sight of the binoculars I was using to zoom into, the lights suddenly disappeared right in the blink of my eyes.
Well, if only my camera wasn't with my sis at that point of time - probably I could have taken a video as well as many pictures of it. (Since it can snap the moon, obviously snapping a shot of that UFO isn't a problem.)

P.S.: Going into Korean doesnt mean that I had threw Japanese away, in my mind.

Fringe Season 3, Borderlands Claptrap's New Revolution DLC4, downloaded some K & J Movies.

Just finished watching Liar Game The Final Stage and really loved the movie. Thank goodness it was downloadable since this movie stopped showing in GV, leading me to think that I will never get to watch it but still..... yeah!

All out and now it seems like I am down to nothing much except a few more movies that I downloaded.

Had been playing Borderlands for the past 4 - 5 days. Completed both Playthrough 1 and 2 using another class and that is Hunter.

The previous class that I used was Soldier and it seems like Hunter is way much more fun. You get crazy loots - like seriously crazy when using a Scavenger Tech Mod and also Bloodwing Action Skill.

It was really fun and tiring so next is to move on to farm some stuffs and then to DLCs 1, 2 and 3. Soon DLC 4 is gonna be out and I am gonna play that.

Yes, I know I am wasting my holidays - but whatever since it's mine you don't have to care.

Yep, after exams this is what I can possibly do - learn more.. LEARN, especially language that I am so damn into these years and the coming years or forever.

Basically of cause I needed some help from translations in order to understand since for now, I can only understand Jap and Korean just the basic side.

Conversation wise is way harder to learn due to the fact that perfecting communication in different language requires a person to be the 'helper'. (That's how I feel about it.)

It feels super great that an alien language to me is no longer alien.

Probably thing I can do is try not to mix and match one language with another since this will really affect the way I learn. However, some words are really cross-linked for its pronunciation especially.

Once again, I am asking myself if I am ready for tomorrow's paper.

According to all the past year papers, I am able to do those questions but what I am worried is that our paper will be quite different in the sense that the questions wouldn't be the same as last year's or past years'.

Did 5 papers - but doesn't really mean anything does it?

If questions will be similar then that would be a sigh of relief but thing is I won't know. I keep telling myself that the questions will be based on the tutorials - somewhat, somehow.

The second paper is down, with a some doubts and mistakes. But as long as I am able to attain my target of 80 for all papers, I will be just as elated.

The day after tomorrow at 9am, it's our last paper. Good thing is that this paper is during the morning - this means that we can enjoy the afternoon!

Finally, the day of the exam is tomorrow at 4pm. Pretty fast I'd say.

But am I really ready for this second of out three paper? I had written down a list of notes based on the what-to-study-for-exam hints. I don't know if it does help but I really do wish that I am able to answer all questions tomorrow. The doubts I have right now seems like undefined.

So as I say again, the sample paper looks straightforward but what I am wondering is will they use some of the same questions again or will it be changed totally? Is this even a necessary thought?

Yes, with that fact about our brain processes information when we sleep, it's bad to do last minute revisions when that particular information is widely spread and there's a need to know a lot. (Unless your brain requires no-sort of any particular energy to work.)

Basically with early revisions, whatever information you have captured during the consciousness state will be processed into the deeper region of the brain during sleep. You will realize that the next day when you wake up, you have no problems answering a question that was supposedly alien.

Well, that is how I am able to learn the basics of Korean and Japanese. Day by day, as more sleeps are introduced, I am able to know better of all these basics.

CWNA - it may seems easy on the outside but for the exam, there's a serious need to memorize loads of texts. It's very unlike NETWORK MANAGEMENT where at least the points are easy to memorize as they are short.

Yes, knowing how to "list" and "give" is the easy part to memorize for WNET but the problem is with the chunk of texts that describes the feature/standards, etc.. Also there are processes of some of these features with more than 3 steps and each point is really kinda hard to memorize.

Also, upon looking at the sample paper that was provided, it seems that the 20marks from the long question is pretty straightforward, but I don't know for our case. Maybe same, maybe some alterations.

This really feels just like last year's NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE paper. However, this time round I have that full determination to get everything in my mind, thus I am kinda stressing out right now!

Please give me some good luck for this paper, blogger. lol.
Here I have to say the same thing again in Korean and Jap.

Ranting on Twitter or Facebook isn't going to help for me since there's this 99.99% chance that it is ignored.
Sharing interests are also pretty much futile on social networks for me.

So, I will take my blog as a live matter to rant, talk about everything as humans are just not reliable. There seems to be so many things for me to say (pretty much negative ones) but on a third person's view, it will probably be something that is opposite or rather more different opinions.

I've decided and trying to stay away from Facebook and Twitter for a long time but usually it's to no avail due to the fact that I browse them just to look for updates on other things (Feeds and News) and not human statuses.

I always take it this way - if no one bothers what I do, or my interests, or what I shared so might as well I will ignore them too. I am always bad with conversations no matter what, so starting one is way worse than anything else.

I've accepted my fate of how my life goes. With the topic of fate comes girls.. what's so good about them I thought. Apparently they are there for the matter of distractions.

According to my fate, I doubt I even have one bit of attraction level to the girls out there. If that it is, so be it since I might as well also say I hate Singaporean girls to the max. If by chance a girl out there seems to look upon me, I will simply ignore. One basic reason is no money to spend on them (for those who think money > love of cause).

Also, I can't seem to care for people as I could only go out bother about my own. The only times I care is when I got exploited of my sincerity. Plus, there are certain people I do care though.. including parents that's for sure.

Accepting the fate makes my life way much simpler to go through. Watching dramas, listening to trance, playing games in the cyberworld, browsing web, solo-recreation are the best. Doing everything solo for the sake of own interests. Oh, I might even watch Liar Game The Final Stage myself after exams.

Gonna go through life with the DeJaVus I have.

Today's NETWORK MANAGEMENT paper was fine. However, the questions were not what I expected except for the last question on QoS and I was definitely right about it - marking and conditioning.

Those chapters I focused on didn't really come out but of cause I was still able to do, luckily. Polling and logging came out too but I did not focus on it at all. Still it's common sense already so I got that right!

So, WIRELESS NETWORKING is the next paper and the format is the same as today's paper. But this god damn module is gonna be hard to revise due to the long winded notes and also there aren't any past year papers to practice. The tutorials are only handy when it comes to MCQ.. those answers to the short answer questions aren't short at all.. =O

With that, thinking I should be able to read Korean language, changed my Gmail language into 한국어.

I didn't know my interests could change all of the sudden.
When I was young, my interest used to be on:

Games
Computers
Electronics
....and many more

Now it seems that my interest added on, and also some are gone. The new ones are basically:

Dramas
Languages - especially Asian languages like Japanese and Korean
Music - it has gotten way stronger

The removed ones are games and probably girls.

I said girls doesn't mean I am becoming asexual, lol. Just that I don't feel the need for love from a 3rd party anymore. Parental love seems to be way much more important than anything else.

So, I asked dad if I could get $ from him to buy the ink cartridge for our FAIL EPSON CX5500 printer.

The series of fail events goes like these:
First I bought the pink colour cartridge, and all was well until it does the head cleaning and it states that the black cartridge couldn't be used. Okay......

So then I went to buy the black one today. Installed it and it was working BUT nothing was printed out of the paper. Took out all cartridge and shook them well, then the same problem comes occur but this time it's yellow... WHAT THE FUCK?

F*ck you EPSON, why not design a printer where it can print even though other cartridge is having problem? FFS, trying to earn money through such dishonest method?

Sorry, but this will be the last of your product that I will ever use.

And I should go and buy Samsung ML-1660 Mono Laser Printer tomorrow - GAH, I need to print them so badly.

Yea! Was so freaking worried that I couldn't pass my TP but it seems like the table turned.

Damn I got so much demerits on stupid mistakes like did not release handbrake and wide turn, still I thank the tester who's so good to give me a pass as I gotten 18 points.

It could have been 14 points but due to the ending part where I was supposed to turn in to the school gate and I turned into the wrong lane (cuz I kept telling myself to keep left at that point of time lol+omg). =\

If I ever get to drive, I must tell myself to be careful and possibly I still need lots of practice.

Oh yeah, since it's an achievement and I am happy that I passed.. now I shouldn't have a problem in focusing on revisions.

My timeline+life is planned no doubt. There are a few minor people out there who possibly have dreams like me - dreams that shows the future. Some even have the kind of ability to dream of events years later.

My dreams.. hur. it's small compared to those people who dream past many years into the future. So yea, possibly I am one of them who has the ability to have precognitive dreams. Talking about it, two scenes happened on the same day and it's clearly happened from my past dreams. And the dream I am talking about doesn't happen on 2010 but during 2006 or 2007.

That DeJaVu happened yesterday. One was which the time at 1am, I was doing some writing on this new study table, my laptop is closed, and then I went to talk to my dad. The scene that produced the feel is when I was doing writing. Strange but it's seriously true, even the new study table that I having now - it was in my dreams.

Pretty much unbelievable with just words like these and no one will even believe me when I say it out - more or less.. I couldn't be so free as to write out such "story".

I am even led to believe further that life is just a loop after watching the K-Dramas. The dramas really tells me somehow that life is planned. (YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS PATH - YOU THERE! YES YOU.... okay, lol)

YET again, it may be the direct opposite where I am saying my dreams are making the future.

Was playing around with my desktop OC settings and hoping it could go further up.

Of cause, increasing the FSB would mean less stability without increasing the VCore. I was just trying to squeeze out any more performance available even though I knew that hard disk is the limitation here.

Reached 190MHz FSB then it became unstable with this funny BSOD.. Don't know if this happens to anyone else but you can clearly see the mouse cursor present in it - which is rare to me.

Previously I've made pacts like

But it seems like I've broken so many of these pacts after watching IRIS. Here I am talking about same topic again.

It's funny how life sets in these ways for me.

After watching IRIS then Love Story in Harvard, I always felt that I've watched Love Story in Harvard somewhere. And that feeling of admiring 김태희 feels like it's a resurrected past.

So, I don't know is it that I did not notice before or is it that after watching IRIS, an advert appears on my twitter quite often. It's an advert featuring a star and he looked strikingly familiar.

I didn't bother much but then after looking through some pictures, I realized the guy on the advert looked familiar. I went to focus on the name on the advert on twitter and realized the name イ・ビョンホン - pronounced as I . ByunHon and obviously it's Lee Byun Hun - the main actor in IRIS.

Like what the hell.. I don't remember this advert appearing before I watched IRIS and I always thought the guy on the advert is someone else. Is this even some kind of strange coincidence? Or is it that my life revolves around something that attracts me even more after I got hooked on to something?

So to summarize, the strange feeling of watching those dramas like I've watched before, the dove advert appears after I watched IRIS.. yeah. I couldn't help but to feel that these happenings isn't just so simple as to HAPPEN by itself..

Okay I gotta admit that.. I am officially attracted to Kim Tae Hee. Her adorable-ness, cute-ness and that innocent look really got me hooked.

So, with the help of D-Addicts, I've found another drama to watch which stars her appearance and it's titled Love Story in Harvard.


Love Story in Harvard

SynopsisLove Story in Harvard portrays the dream and love pursued by foreign students studying in Harvard. It demonstrates bright, hard-working, and romantic characters and storylines.

A young love story set at the famed Ivy League school in the United States. Kim Hyun Woo (Kim Rae Won), a 1st year law student at Harvard Law, enters into a rivalry with classmate Hong Jung Min (Lee Jung Jin) for the affections of beautiful medical student Lee Soo In (Kim Tae Hee). The two men are both from prestigious families, while Soo In is from a poor family. Can the trio resolve their romantic differences and chase their dreams at the same time?

This drama is really indescribable, even though it's a 2004 drama and it does feel a little vintage(okay, maybe not this word lol) and classy. Out of 16 episodes, almost all episodes after the 3rd one made me shed tears nonetheless. It's touching to the max, as when I thought J-dramas were better at making me shed tears...

The plot however feels the same like in IRIS except that IRIS is really extreme. 3 characters - 2 guys, 1 girl in a love triangle. One of the guy is sure-have on the girl while the other is just a supporting character in that love triangle. Also, the supporting character usually have the evil path of life in the shows, which follows the enemies' 'orders'. And the problems of the 2 guys always end up because of the girl. Yea, that same plot for both. It feels good still, all I can say is that different country have different style on the dramas. (AH, I realized it's the same plot cause of same writer.)

Oh, the males cries load in Korean dramas I realized - very realistic and original. (Who says guys only need to shed blood not tears, wtf..)

Anyhow, what I like best in Love Story in Harvard is that the kisses became so-called Touchdown, the build of the story, lots of touching scenes like tears, hugging, cuddling, etc.

AWESOME!

The hope I could have is to see more of Kim Tae Hee - she really looked the same in IRIS as in this drama and that's 6 years of age difference. Kim Rae Won is pretty cheeky and funny in the show too and I like it!

I don't know what to say but the feel is really more human-like.

IRIS K-Drama

Thanks to Jack Lee Ming Hsien, my classmate.. I've got this K-Drama titled IRIS to watch and it's the first time I've watched a K-Drama (where I really have no interest before).

The show is seriously.... intriguing but with a few predictable scenes especially last few parts.
The ending shows the main male lead, Kim Hyun Joon, getting shot and injured? or dead after? while trying to deliver an engagement ring to Choi Seung Hee.

From my point of view, I guess Kim Hyun Jun will still be alive as seriously, how can a person getting a headshot (maybe), live for a few moments?

This is the first show which gave me adrenaline through visual sense, the thoughts in my mind while watching it makes me panic somehow..

The sequel, IRIS 2, will be set to broadcast in October 2011 with the same leads - that's like one year + around 60 days later, omg.

Well now at least I know I have something to do for that point of time.

Last but not least, I love the lead actors and actresses and best is the pairing of Lee Byun Hun and Kim Tae Hee. One of the driving force to watch this show is the love within them.

* as I watch even more dramas, I feel like a different person.
* if only I can live in that dream, the reality is just too fake.

It's been the 5th week of our house renovation.
Master bedroom's bathroom still 3/4 done while kitchen's bathroom just completed today.

Still waiting for 10th Aug for the construction of our study table so that I can start with my revisions and also to use my computer with privacy(ok not really) + peace.

I just can't wait. Oh, with the study table then I won't need my laptop to share internet with my desktop computer anymore.

People just follow and not have a choice for themselves.. do they?

So as I was walking to the MRT heading to school today, one of my organs started hurting inside and for this I realized it will be bad.

During the test was like so far so good and here's my result for the 5 stations just to keep my own record:

SBJ - 235cm - 3 points
Sit and reach - 52cm - 5 points
Shuttle Run - 9.8sec - 5 points
Sit up - 44 reps - 5 points
Chin-up(Pull-up) - 8 reps - 3 points

so FUCK 2.4KM RUN. I was getting near my target upon 3 rounds, and my timing was like 2mins each round. Little did I know at the 4th round the curse came which is my organ started hurting again so I decided to walk. Once I started walking the time seems to fly suddenly and the timer still goes.

The instructor there was amplifying the time and I realized I am not even getting a bronze at all during the 5th round.

God damnit, if only my body was stable without any pain, maybe I could have gotten silver. There are 3 things that always destroy my performance on the 2.4KM run and they are being breathless, calf + hamstring pain and ORGAN pain.

if only these doesn't happen on me.. IF ONLY IF ONLY. ARGH!!

Sometimes I would take things easy and thinking that some tasks are really easy to do.

Example like my NAPFA 'mock' test later. I am now thinking that the 4 stations like Sit and Reach, Standing Broad Jump, Pull-ups and Shuttle Run is pretty easy to get a C grade with 3 points. Pretty much I have to overexert myself for the 2.4KM run if I were to at least get a Bronze or maybe if possible Silver.

I really wish there could be someone to be my fuel adder but obviously there wouldn't be any. Maybe self-reliant is the best choice.. maybe not.

OMG, went to watch Inception yesterday and it was really awesome.

Loved the concept and theme which is based on dreams as dreams is always the keyword for my attraction to any kind of shows.

Downloaded the OST and it sounded real chilling. The whole movie is based on some intriguing and rushing music.

Finally on Monday, the OOP mini-project interview was completed for me and which means left one lab test AND also one NAPFA test.

Tomorrow's the lab test on WIRELESS NETWORKING. We are supposed to be able to know how to setup the Cisco AP using the command line interface (CLI). Setup includes setting the IP of the AP and also enable wireless radio. More or less I shouldn't have a problem.

There's also setting up of security like WEP encryption and MAC filtering. Then there's one part on knowing how to setup ACS on Cisco AP. I don't know what that meant and neither do I know what kind of question is it going to come out for that. Basically, it isn't based on the practical but theory.

Talk about today's NAPFA training. I felt slack today and I am still disappointed that I am unable to achieve my best record time for shuttle run which is 8.6 sec. Gotten 10.1 sec and the instructor said no good to me but others were fine, which means I am the ODD ONE OUT AS USUAL. I am soooooo dejected. =( However, I am able to achieve results for sit and reach where I couldn't before.

So, there will be a presumably mock test but the instructor said that whatever results that we will get will be the official one. I don't know if I am able to get at least a bronze. I was able to run 5 rounds (leaving one more round) under 11min though where bronze is under 13:40.

Finished the game about 2 hours ago. Yet again another FPS with a story theme based on time. It's always such a theme that made me ponder and wonder when the game ends like how the character got revived, how he changed etc.

So basically all I want to say is 3 endings for you to choose at the end, and this is one video I captured as there's a hidden unreachable Weapon Tech unless you use the grenade launcher to do this:

oh and how great it is to revive on gaming after 3 weeks of without a proper high-end computer to play with.

yea, I was actually telling myself to stop blogging for a moment but still I have to update it.

anyways, time flies yet again. it seems like many things are hardly able to complete but somewhat somehow, everything always pieces together when deadlines are near - I don't know why.

had to say that we are living back in our own house, but quite incomplete still so have to accustom to whatever there is. basically our room doesn't have a study table for me to use my laptop/desktop computer. it's okay without study table for now, but the sad thing is there's no power points to power up anything in our room. haha.

oh I have been having epic dreams lately but always whenever I wake up the content is gone but the feelings lurk within.

for now, I just hope that the lab assignments and OOP mini-project can be marked and graded in peace for me. (DARN REPORTS)

longest bus wait time

It seems like my luck today seems to be on the downside based on what my decisions are.

Okay, not so much of about happenings in school but it is after. So, we went to Queensway Shopping Center to get some dinner. I ordered Laksa for 3 bucks, it's Katong Laksa so the taste is totally similar from what I last ate (oh man it's been so long).

Then after that went to the old old arcade called Circus Circus at the shopping center. The machines there and the rewards from tickets are laughable.

And then it's 5pm and we were all heading home except austin who will be going to skate. First I followed haowei and juinlong to one of the bus stop to look if there's any buses that is able to reach pasir ris and apparently there isn't any, the worse thing is the list of buses shown is only page 2 whereas page 1 is missing. However, there's bus to Commonwealth MRT station which is bus 198. I wanted to take that - but there are 2 reasons why I scrap that idea. First is due to the time where the MRT sucks the crowd in. Second is haowei and juinlong seems a bit bochup on me (yah obviously I am the odd one out everywhere I go).

Then I decided to take bus 14 to reach Mountbatten and change to bus 12. And it seems like I met austin at the bus stop I went to. Took long enough for another bus to come.

As bus 14 exits through the Nicoll Highway, it's time for me to alight the bus to take bus 12. This is where the sick crap comes in - if only I have remembered how inefficient bus 12 can be, maybe I would have decided another way to reach back 'home'.

I've waited for about 25min on the bus stop for a bus 12 to come, and it was a full single deck but there's still space which I did not board. Then, waited another 25min and another full single deck comes but this one there isn't a single space. About 15min later, finally, a double deck came and I boarded that. It's quite full but at least there's seat at the upper deck. That's like 1hour plus of waiting time - fuck.

Took another 1hr 15min to reach pasir ris interchange and it was already 8:15pm. Reached back 'home' at 8:30pm. I can't believe it's a 3hours bus ride. lol.

life changing events

Went back to our own home today as the contractor wanted to clarify some measurements of the study table that we are going to have.

The workers were there today and the cigarette they smoke are awesomely smelly, lol. Just a small sniff and I can't take it totally. It seems like our home is gonna look pretty in some ways after renovation.

So basically now my dad does not have any taxi to drive to work, which means lower family income. This is where I hope that I wouldn't spend any money but while living at my grandma's house it feels that lots of things are missing and spending money is somewhat necessary. It contradicts, I know. Also, I've spent $69.90 on a new shoe branded New Balance for running.

Oh, for my previous driving lesson I was able to perform parallel parking without much problem and vertical parking was done awesomely well at first go, a pat on my shoulder on that! wooh!

Basically there's nothing much to blog about these few days. Only thing to note for myself is the life changing events that occurred all at one go which.. I won't be listing here.

Also, it seems weird to see many girls that looked pretty around town - or maybe it's just me. However, they all suck as usual - either they all look no different or they are just bad in attitude/character.

Still, there's one that seemed to be out of the typical range who is working at white sands burger king.
