wow... after 2 years of using windows vista, i finally realized which SERVICE is the culprit for slow/fast bootup.

and that is READYBOOST. i turn it back on for both my desktop and laptop. nevertheless, after a few restarts, vista boots within seconds. *extremely high wow factor, unbelievable.

a service yet looking useless (only works for USB flash drive), instead it is a service which makes vista boots quickly. DAMN, stupid me.

and for the fact that i thought it was ATI or NVIDIA problem. (i usually thought ATI allowed vista to boot quickly compared to NVIDIA)

technologies are such a pain..~
