computers are such bastard kind of technology.

imagine this that you have something interesting to test on, for instance, an operating system. you had a hard disk that was inactive for very long time and wanted to power it up so that you can try out something new. but this hard disk broke down suddenly and it just goes boncus which leaves you to no choice but to give up.....

ok that is what happened to me. i wanted to try windows 7 but to no avail cuz of the reason above.

sigh. time to get a new hard disk anyways. IDE sucks.
