once again, my comp has BSOD-ed 4 times this week.
first I was playing sims 3 and I have my GPU fan speed set at 45%.

apparently rivatuner kind of fails at locking the fan speed, which means to say that I can hear the fan frequently spinning up sound with the speed to 100%.
it's like 45% then gpu says GO 100% but rivatuner takes over says stay at 45%..
so, when that happens I knew that my comp will blue screen soon enough.

I was playing the latest DLC of Borderlands (The Secret Armory of General Knoxx), and the comp just blue screens without notice where the worst thing is it crashes NOT IN FIREFIGHTS. LOL.

I tried not to lock GPU fan speed and it still crashes. Turned on VSync and same thing happens. freaking worthless comp. it's a total turnoff when you are so into the game.

went out to Simei and Tampines to seek out for the PS2/PS3 component cable.
seems like the cheapest I've found so far is S$25.
next is to head to Sim Lim Square to find one that is cheaper, hopefully.
