aint maintainence supposed to lengthen the life of something?

why is it that for me, anything that I did some maintainence to it end up dead in the end.

take for example my old motherboard GA-M55SLI-S4.. the dusts were somewhat annoying and I took a dust-sucker cloth to clean them.
next thing I know it's dead within less than a day.

so, same goes for today on my 2years old 8800gt. everytime when I play games, the stupid fan spins up to 100% and the noise is irritating. I removed the cooler and cleaned the crap - thermal grease and dusts.

it booted fine at first - as usual. then I played borderlands, and while playing half way the screen  blacked out so I thought maybe it's the overclock of my CPU. resetted the comp and it was fine still. started borderlands again and I went afk. I came back and I saw the screen went black again and this is where my 8800gt went dead.

I thought there might be some short-circuit due to the cleaning but apparently not.
I just hate it when my comp auto-resets due to something bad/faulty.

seems like some durability has been lost quite a bit on this new comp of mine.

again, this is where the weird fate is. everytime I receive my pay, some of the things that I own will turn out dead. like the money I got has to be spent no matter what. can't I just save those fucking money omg..

I am using my dad's 9600GT in the meantime before the motherboard comes back. seems like I can't play much graphic-hungry games for now.

are these good temp for my computer?

hating my graphic card's temperature which is idling at 74 degree celsius. omg.

had a great day today. went out with peiwen, guanyu, zhihao and gerald to marina barrage to picnic and fly kite.

basically, I went there only to eat and to my surprise there's Wireless@SG there.. okay, maybe not much of a surprise since it's pretty much a building by PUB.

anyways we went into the gallery to read all about the barrage. pretty cool mechanism there.
then we went to the green roof to do all our things - eat, fly kite and take photos.

during the evening, went out for dinner with my family to celebrate mothers' day. it was a filling meal and the last gulp of one-shot at the beer (not so much) makes me wanna puke since my stomach was filled with lots of air already.

walked around to burp all out the gases and felt better.
gotten some minor recreational at the nearby playground and there home is waiting for us.

oh sigh, the omnia 2 community at modaco is failing much now.
or maybe samsung is failing on the support of this phone.

I have been using a taiwan chinese ROM on my omnia 2 for months already.
I've seen quite a few new releases of ROM on modaco and there are also WM6.5.3 ROMs.
last night I decided to flash to a ROM that runs WM6.5.3 - version I8000NXXJD1.

yes, flashing is fine and end up I got an increase in total RAM but what lies behind is something real bad.

as you know I'd love japanese input everywhere - on computers and also my phone. so the first thing I always do is to install the fonts including Meiryo. I thought everything was fine at first. once I installed the japanese input, I realized that I couldn't select the font for the program to use cause it's not in the drop-down list.
never mind, I went on and installed an alternate japanese keyboard - works fine.

when all was well, I installed google maps and found out that the fonts were kinda screwed up. some letters were rotated 90 degree anti-clockwise, lol. I went on to check the dictionaries and the same thing as well. I was like FUCK, STUPID BUG. just by copying the fonts to \windows\fonts makes the default font to what I've copied inside and this weren't happening in the old ROMs/OS.

I have no idea whether is it due to the OS version or something's fucked up in the registry.

I have already flashed my phone like 6 times or more in a row already and still counting, until I find a proper rom.. shit what have I got myself into.

time to change phone + OS.

school's as usual at the stupid timing of 3pm again for today.

I've realized that I couldn't catch up on stuff easily or am I doing something wrong here..

anyways it's hell of a coincidence for when I was heading home.
as usual I took bus 14 home. I was napping throughout as I couldn't be bothered much about any sights since it was rather late already.

then while napping I've realized my head was hitting against the window glass but there's no feeling at all. blardy hell sitting at the right side of the bus is seriously suck for napping.
anyways then I woke up at the bus stop near the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

this is the best part. I saw my mom came up the bus. 
yea, this is one ultimate coincidence for me. (maybe it might be common for some people). well, for someone like me who takes bus 14 most of the time and for this one time where my mom went out and took bus 14 too - I've managed to see her on the same bus on my way home. lmao. SBS 7472 M - noted.

oh what else that is coincidence is I woke up at that very stop.
life of a human can be so interesting...

P.S.: IM GONNA GET HTC DESIRE IF IT WERE TO BE OUT IN MID-MAY. hopefully the price is right.

I feel that I've lost all my dedications and that 'just do it' spirit.
I've had it for pretty long time but now I think I've lost it. no shit, not for real.

I've gotta get them back! else I think my grades will start falling off the cliff..
or maybe it's just a tree that got cut.

need some dedications to my work rather than games. like seriously, ARGH.

installed a 120mm fan with green led that saturday and now to post a photo on it .. a nicer and cleaner rig this time.

oh and green light is really brighter than blue led. lol.

today is a great and also grand day.

woke up early 7am to head to (actually) airport to meet my long time no seen friend - zhi hao.
it's been a year, like 12 months.

ok so basically everyone who was supposed to meet at tanah merah was late. ended up we were asked to go zhihao's house to meet him.

then we went his house to chit chat. it's really no ending conversations and zhihao was showing all of the photos he took during his time on the ship.

chat and snack till about 1pm and we went down to get lunch. was pretty undecided where to go at first then end up chose eatzi restaurant at eastpoint. had the grilled boneless chicken which is main course for sunday. conversations are pretty much non ending.

after lunch it was 3pm. still kinda early and gerald has to have his erhu class at 4:30pm. we decided to watch IP Man 2 but we have to buy a ticket with a time slot that gerald could make it. and it is 6:10pm.

while waiting for time to pass, we walked around and show zhihao what was new in SG. well, he of cause didnt know that tampines one was up and robust now. so, now he knew.

sort of nothing much to describe here.

so at 6:10pm we watched IP Man 2. quote from my fb status : "IP Man 2 is awesomely awsome. すごい！it has the same awesomeness as in the first IP Man." this basically describe how I felt for the movie. very less talking this time and much more action.
