samsung galaxy s AKA GT-I9000 with the same kind of name modelling as my current OMNIA 2 which is GT-I8000.

I am really really hoping to get this phone asap. but now, only Singtel seems to be selling it and the price is at $668 with 2-year plan/recontract. unless I am able to convince my dad to sign me up the $39 plan, I will not be able to get this phone cheap for now. hopefully the price will drop with the official launch of this phone on the 7th June.

the specs are godly for this era with:

• CPU - 1GHz Cortex A8 aka Hummingbird processor (note that it's not Qualcomm's Snapdragon)
• Memory - Rumoured with 2GB ROM and 8GB/16GB internal
• Connectivity - Wireless b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0
• OS - Android 2.1 (confirmed update with 2.2 Froyo)
• Display - SUPER AMOLED 4'', 16M Colours

yea, look at that specs. no other phone beats it, for now of cause.
well, some say the design look like iphone but oh please, it does not have a single design that looks just like it.
