been wanting to update this dusty blog but blogger has always been loading so slowly.
but now finally.

holiday assignments - MATHS PBL, D&I REPORT, CRS RESEARCH based on topic we choose.
so far only MATHS PBL been done. sigh.

seems like only my OMNIA II provides me with accompany all day long.
music + GPS + flicking fingers + camera .. lol

it looks like work for me isnt at the right time. I felt like damn bored while working. I realized that every time I will have to play and flick my fingers a bit on my OMNIA II.

oh well, I am working for a week so this friday is my last. time flies, still.

anyways there's some miracle happened today. okay, so out of 13 : (Area of singapore land) ratio, the chances of seeing mediacorp artiste on the street filming some shows are kinda rare, for me.

and so today at waterloo street, and right beside the shop I am working in, Fann Wong and Christopher Lee came to film shows. I don't know what show it is though.

this is my FREAKING first time seeing mediacorp artiste, right in front of my eye. the sight of them compared to looking at them on TV is totally different.

didnt managed to take pictures as the cameraman and all told us not to take photos. =(

P.S.: GPS is fun. lol.

since I am really bored, maybe I shall post an entry.

soo, MST ended on thursday and 2 days have passed just in the blink of an eye. plus now it's evening which means another day ending soon!

reflecting on myself for the MST period. first module was DSA, programming - say it's a miracle or what I was expecting 80 marks but it turned out that 'I don't know how and what happened' but I got 92. that's my freaking first one-shot for a 9x.

second was math. the last qns was epic which everyone was discussing about after the test. since I did the same kind of qns for the tutorial, for which I actually dont know how to do and asked lecturer about it, I applied to it during the test which I am confident that it should be correct.

third was analog systems. this paper doesnt really have much to comment about but just to say that I am relieved it wasn't so bad.

then the last paper was MCT. who wouldn't have known and I did not thought of it. for what we did in the 09/10 Sem1 paper, this paper was the total opposite. as in "that paper goes this way, this paper goes that way". yea, (nonsense).

ah well, I think I may have screwed up MCT paper.

next week gotta work at same place at bugis again, for just 1 week. time to earn some $$$ again.

Drive F is my only hope for storing more stuffs, but it seems that it's going to be maxed out soon.

while revising for DSA, I didn't realized this until now.

hmm I thought I was a goner for AS lab test. the time limit is till 11am but our lecturer was kind enough and she gave us extra time. ended up finished at 11:10am. luckily I managed to complete the paper.

then it was MCT labtest - I can't believe it's so straightforward. well, it's not open book but eventually the batch file we ran produced the templates of our lab, which was the answer to our labtest. of cuz, I didn't make use of it. trying hard to memorize and understand myself so it will help for my MST.

since nigel has gotten his new core i5 comp while austin has gotten his PSU to power up his desktop. we tried to play left 4 dead. in the end, ended up playing left 4 dead 2 with austin. sigh, need more people man! argh. there's really no fun in playing with bots.

next week is the assessment week. will be having 2 lab tests on monday - AS and MCT.

don't know what am I supposed to do with those. confidence seems to be lacking for both the lab tests.

I've realized that ever since I stopped blogging much, laziness came climbing all over me. seems like there's this 'can't be bothered' feeling. AND MY ENGLISH IS FAILING CUZ I CAN'T SEEM TO TYPE ANYTHING.

left 4 dead 2 is the only game I can play now, and maybe Borderlands Playthrough 2.

managed to play left 4 dead 2 for a while.
the game itself is freaking buggy - crashes and crashes (that goes for the legit version as well).

well, have not been sleeping well these 2 weeks. extremely sleepy everytime I wake up for school, even my phone's alarm does not wake me up at all.

Borderlands is really an interesting game and I can't seem to stop playing but still I am able to control.
anyways, Sims 3 World Adventure is out and I am gonna try it out.

life now is basically play, study and.... the usual thing I do everytime I am outside.

school days are like kind of packed and for that, time seems to really pass damn fast than usual.

CRS on tuesday was a breeze, but could have done better. oh wells.
next week having DSA revision quiz, and have to do some work for D&I idea presentation.
every lecturer in this term, which I wanna say again, SUCKS only except 2 of them.

DSA is basically C++ but more advanced, and it seems like I can't catch most of the topic. that's not good at all. sigh.

anyways, I took bus 14 home today. well, it was 5:30pm when I boarded the bus so the traffic jam was expected. when upon reaching destination, there's this girl on the bus stop who is going to board the bus. she seems cute and she looked at me.. oO but of cause as usual, the good chances are always missed. fuck life.

oh and I have flashed my OMNIA II to I8000NXXIJC, this version of the ROM (firmware) seems much better and have better performance. also, the samsung keyboard is now white skinned instead of black. hoping to see better results after longer usage.

argh, thinking about the assessment for CRS, Critical Reasoning Skills next tuesday really stress me out.

seriously, how I just hate oral assessments, and worse of all it's about argumentations. that's something I am really bad in.

maybe I could just try and do my best, I don't know.

I've bought Omnia II i8000 and I retrieved it on 4th Nov (ordered online).
have been playing it these few days.. trying to get the best stuffs into it, but I realized it's kind of difficult to find.

hmm, things to say about sem2.

• boring school days.
• lunch time at 12noon is always filled with 'retards' all over the foodcourts.
• lecturers are getting worse each term for this year.
• schoolworks are kinda repeating from what we learnt in year 1 except there's newer stuff.
• going home is kinda lonely.
• heading home seems to take longer than usual.

what else..

went out to tampines again at noon to hangout with guanyu, denie, darren and peiwen.
since darren isnt at sea, he wanted to meet us since last week. so there we go...

zhihao called again, from australia. wow, really missing him again. he told me that he will be sailing to Japan today. oh man, one of the country that I'd wish to go.
I told him to learn some japan language and teach me when he get back. then again, I told him I was learning it and then he wanted me to teach him. hahaha. well, truth is everywhere I go, there will surely be japan language all over so it's really best to learn and chuck English aside when it comes to Japanese.

zhihao also told me loads of stuff but the call hung up suddenly and I realized it's that his credit for overseas call has emptied out. =( hoping he will call again.

so, went to popeyes to have lunch and I didn't know there's popeyes in century square. the chicken meat here kinda suck cuz it's really small compared to the ones served at Terminal 1 Airport. after lunch we went to look around - Best Denki and all. then went to meet peiwen.

bought movie tickets for 500 Days of Summer and we watched it at 3:15pm. nice movie I must say - more towards the question of whether "Is there even such thing as love?"

after movie was almost evening, went up to Tampines 1 rooftop and played with my camera - to take group photos and sceneries.

ok it seems like I really need to blog.

yea, so gotten back my laptop this morning, and I was given a service report too.
one point that is kinda funny is :

• Found user install 3rd party windows operating system, Windows 7.

it's really hilarious, at least to me.
the mainboard was replaced but my laptop still aint able to boot thumbdrive at USB2, sigh. and so the operating system was replaced back to vista home premium. the looks of it gives me =\ face. lol.
oh wells. finally, I will be able to do my work though, haha.

anyways, after retrieving my laptop, my dad brought me to the monastery at toa payoh to pray to the gods for the better. meanwhile, I told my dad what happened to me while I was sleeping and he linked most of it to buddhism stuffs. yes, I do believe in it.

afterwards, went back home and out again to tampines to do some stuff. walked around tampines for a while then went to airport to find my mom.

time really flies. it's gonna be school days starting from next week, but I don't know if I should be looking forward to it. or maybe I should since holidays are kind of empty.

ever since I finished playing Batman Arkham Asylum, I didn't touch a single game for 2 weeks (except sims 3, but didn't really play long). and that eventually shows that I have nothing to do at all. waiting for Heroes or Fringe will take some time, so...

I stopped work on Wednesday and 2 days have passed like in the blink of an eye. this is the only time which I was able to actually work without any grudge unlike the F&B hotel waiter work last time. happy to receive my salary and I am happy with the people there. happiness defeats all.

ok about yesterday.

in the morning, went out to International Business Park at Jurong to bring my laptop for service. hopefully I will be able to retrieve it by next thursday.

went to kris be-early birthday party in the evening with jiajia, peiwen, denie, guanyu. it's really really crowded, it just seems like kris really have a super wide circle of friends now.

without my Powershot camera (which was with my sis), there's nothing much I could do there but to eat and chat. the food were not enough for the people there at all haha.

well, as usual I didn't have much to talk about but just listened to what my friends were saying, joining in the laughter.

my mind was basically filled with emptiness after a while. after such long time where we didn't see each other, and finally we met. there's like things I wanna say, but I'd wish to stay out of the crowd. it's a rather contradicting thoughts.

say me crazy if you want but whenever every seconds passes, I was hoping that something catastrophic would happen in this world. experiencing that would be totally different from what is happening now.

life right now for me is just work, learn driving and obtain the license, learn japanese language, watch Fringe, watch Heroes and also re-watching all the japan dramas I have downloaded. the drama that I re-watch would most likely be 「モップガール」Mop Girl since it's funny, touching and best of all the star of the show is one 可愛い actress.

oh and I must say that I can't stand most of the typical Singaporeans. it's spoilt brats everywhere for people below 18 of age (and maybe some grown ups). they are all just 'copycats' from all over the world (what good does it do following trends?), no basic manners, no courtesy, etc.

work today was kinda sweat-based. went to the warehouse to move stuffs. sorta heavy but it's only a few of which is.

nothing much, just that I feel kinda stupid still. don't know what to do and all.

finally found websites which I can upload my music and hotlinking it on my blog. stupid Google Sites always fail to play the music.

argh, need.. to.. progress.. on the learning of japanese language.
I was trying to read a blog in japanese, and to my relief I was able to understand some sentences.

I think I will need to buck up on it and I doubt I have actually master ひらがな. I am kinda slow when it comes to writing the correct character.

must study on the grammar and build the japanese vocabulary. 「の、に、を、よ」 etc.

work today is pretty "awesome". time seems to pass faster than usual for today too.
well I said "awesome" cause I meant AWE-some. couldn't really concentrate for much as my shoulders were aching badly.

nothing much though but I'll have to move stuffs from their warehouse tomorrow. as they are saying that the goods will be very heavy (more than 15KG, I assume), I then wonder if I am able to carry anything at all.. my body haven't lift heavy stuffs for 2 years. =\

anyways, things are somewhat bad - but which I hope it's not a coincidence. ever since I started working, my valuables starts to break down and die on me. things like laptop and my HPM-70.

for the laptop, whenever I try to restart, it will just power-hang and it won't boot unless I nudge my laptop. pressing the power button won't even turn it on sometimes. what I've found out is that the time on my laptop got stuck and causing it not to turn on. yea by stuck I mean it won't move, it resets to 00:00:00 and stays there like a sculpture. blardy CMOS battery.

for my HPM-70, which happened today, has the same fate as my first HPM-70. HPM-70 is the one with the mic and the accept call button (not the earphones as it's still fine). the fate it has is that the right side of the sound signal output is broken. nudging and moving the wires is gonna be irritating. sigh.

progession on my learning of japanese language: I've made myself a pocket ひらがな table and I have somewhat mastered it, so next will be カタカナ. yea!

update(11:46PM): message to myself. ----- it's a must to really study and understand japanese language, at least for ひらがな(done), grammar and vocabulary. these are what you need to understand words on the internet and jdramas. 日本語を，べんきょうします！

I realized time pass just as quick when I am at work.

gonna buy a 500GB portable 2.5'' hard drive soon. hopefully the price will drop to less than $120 soon enough.

had my first practical lesson today. just when I thought I could make it without much mistakes, all the mistakes happened. engine died twice, my stupid leg kept trembling for no reason on the clutch.

but in the end, I sort of able to make it after UNDERSTANDING HOW THE CLUTCH WORK. the only thing I am rather worried of is the half-clutch, in which the part where you have to move your vehicle off from a stationary position. weirdly enough I was able to change gear without much mistakes and handling the steering wheel fairly well.

determination, patience and objective are all I need to get it right.

seriously, are my dreams that powerful that it can actually links to what may happen days later or weeks later?

yesterday my old friend zhihao, appeared in my dreams while I was sleeping, it was something about meeting up and having a nice chat, together with a group of friends. and today I met him in real life. how does that sound?

I was surprised when guanyu messaged me yesterday about we are meeting him today. it's seriously like dream come true.

met him today but still, went off into the sea in the blink of an eye.

oh yay, I've managed to progress a bit on learning Japanese.

so far I've learned the state-of-being and particles.

• だ means is. eg. 魚だ means is fish.

• じゃない - ah, one of the common japanese word and it basically means not.
• eg. 学生じゃない means not student.

• だった is used for past tense which is basically was.
• eg. 学生だった means was student.
• かった is used to say something that is past and not and it replaces the 「い」 in 「じゃない」.
• eg. せんせいじゃなかった means was not a doctor.
  

• particles like は、も、are used as topic while が is used for identifying topics.
• も basically means also.

lovely. and I realized I am able to write japanese nicely as compared to writing english letters lol.

yet still, the ultimate thing to do is to memorise the HIRAGANA and KATAKANA table. that is one of the important step number 1, which is also one of the difficult ones.
