today's lesson I had a few mistakes, somewhat awkward mistakes and they aren't supposed to be made, damn. don't know what happened to me today, but still so far so good.
registered for my Traffic Police test and the date is on 2/9/2010. luckily, it is on a thursday morning because Thursday is the only day I have my classes in the afternoon. however, the bad thing is that it is on the 1 week make-up lessons and after that 1 week is the exam week. crap.
always preferred to have a clean schedule (just classes) everytime before exams but seems like now it is not possible.
I just have to do my best for both of it - driving test and my course exams.
life is gonna change for me, very very soon.

secondary school friends...
they are the only ones who celebrates 'your' birthday every year for that 2 or maybe 4 years.
there's bbqs, outings and so many other get-together events + also outings organized by school/teacher - you can't forget that memories.
school events, teachers' day, chinese new year, everything which need celebrates - most classes will do something for those special days, and this added as another get-together with things done as a class.
so what's so special about secondary school friends compared to what we have currently? nevertheless, it's those limitless things we all did as a whole which makes that memories unforgettable.
enough said. =)

NAPFA training programme
so I signed up for this NAPFA training programme organized by the school and it starts on 29th June.
and that means it's this coming tuesday upon the new school term.
I am wrecking my brain now on this due to the outfit. I am certain I do not have any sports pants to acummulate for the workout. so I would need to probably buy a new one before this coming tuesday. if all else fails, the desperate measure is to use any comfortable shorts already.
should I even be so bothered about this? maybe I should follow the quotes from Mr Brain drama. "If you dont have anything to worry about, your brain starts to age." そですね～

a walk in m'sia
so yesterday night I asked my mom if she's working tomorrow and she said she has the off day. then I asked again whether is she going anywhere and she said yes - to malaysia with her friends.
omg, when my mom said that I immediately went wow, and I asked if can I follow. my mom said of cause! since it is still holiday and I have the time...
so I was supposed to go orchard with guanyu, zhihao, darren(probably) and cindy. I cancelled that appointment and joined my mom for tomorrow.
I would just want to say that going to m'sia to take a walk would be so much better than walking in that stupid orchard road. everytime I take bus 14 home from school, I will see that stupid street - and I got bored of it. (yea, the street which got flooded badly lol.)

morning went out to bugis there to board the bus to m'sia. but before that I was having a bit of problem. after knowing something which is called the "6 month validity upon date of entry" for the passport, I grew worried cause I wasn't certain I will be able to go through the border with my passport as the next expiry date is on nov 2010. it's 4 months left.
good enough, we clarified the situation and I was able to pass through without problem.
while at m'sia, we went to 3 shopping malls - City Square, Holiday Plaza andone more which I did not took notice of its name Plaza Sentosa. bought a shirt and 2 knee-length pants, was hoping to get also more polo tees but my mom did not have enough money, so I scrapped that idea.
the whole day was just to eat and shop, that's all. saw 2 girls which looked good over at the malls there, but that's only during the evening. going there feels like going to a shopping mall which I never been before.

went out to play pool with guanyu and zhihao today at tampines SAFRA.
anyways, before that I was at Eastpoint early to wait for zhihao and guanyu. zhihao came down at about 12:45pm then we had lunch together. upon finishing lunch, we have to wait for guanyu to reach on bus 5.
so we bought bubble tea at sweet talk and guess who I saw.. Miss Hang! - one of my favourite teacher during secondary school times and also 2 other teachers whom I don't really know well. yea, Miss Hang taught us combined chemistry during secondary school. I'd say favourite cause she is one of the best teacher among all of our classes.
man, she does look slightly different but I did not take a full look lol. her character is still the same, giving that big smile and waving to us.. haha.
back to the story of the pool game..
omg man I was on a losing streak, I can't even shoot properly.. the ball always went out of position after I shoot. probably I wasn't serious and being the uncompetitive one, I couldn't be bothered much.
well we took turns to play and whoever that loses will switch.
after playing pool, me and zhihao went to TM to get dinner but my first stop was singtel shop to play with Galaxy S I9000 again. oh man I can't get enough of this phone just like how I can't get enough of Omnia II that time.

dreams about game - and I was in it
dream.. yet again. this is another lucid one, I know I was playing a game but I don't know why it seems that my 'soul' went into the game and I became the character of that FPS shooter.
The game felt like FEAR setting but it is not. the environment were just bright enough. it seems like the objective of the game was to kill some asshole out of revenge.
I know that I was climbing around poles, monkey bars, ladders and many more - it's like a place of nicely built obstacles. and also I was switching weapons and all, killing some mobsters.
the last scene was I climbed down a ladder and poof, the dream is gone.
what kind of dream is that....? like seriously I wasn't even thinking of games or was I playing any games last night.

so whenever I am on this computer, all I do is Firefox -> Facebook -> Twitter -> Feeds then close.... and it repeats.
those games that aren't really my type - it's gonna be dusty soon.
and I really don't know what to do next. lol.
oh, there's a lot of DeJaVu happening on me again. and the whole situation never endingly repeats itself. no wonder I am such a boring person. =(

my dreams are back once again - possibly caused by some events that are gonna happen soon enough or maybe it's the fatigue, I don't know. but I do know that those most current dreams have people that I know of and they are pretty small group so it's easily identified.
I do hope for more dreams as always as it's one of my companion during sleep. obviously the phrase 'companion during sleep' is used cause companions IRL is so FUCKING hard to find. whatever!

these thoughts suddenly came through my mind "So, how am I gonna implement this to the web browser?" and "What are the programs that I need to create?"

Blogger Template Design
I am trying out the new Template Design for my blog. this feels much more lighter and simpler but all my computer art would have gone a waste if I were to use this template for as long as possible..
unless I design a new banner or anything, I doubt I will feel good lol. but seriously, I love these simplistic templates.

Family Dinner!
everything just happens so swiftly and quickly that my memories can't seem to record down the precise situation.
anyways went for family dinner tonight at chinatown. it was a fish feast, with all the tasty side dishes. I love it when our family gets together and have dinner, the smiles on everyone faces just makes me happy.
my second bro took a few photos once my dad initiated lol. anyways, there isn't really much to describe but just want to say that the feast was great and the mood was happy.
while on the mrt home and when the train reaches city hall, there's a girl who came up the train and she stood right in front of me. being petite and small, she looked timid and shy. also from my intuition, I think she really is. she's neither pretty nor cute but she is indeed my type lol.
well well, not continuing on this story cause I already posted a chunk of description on my private blog. all I can say is that she dropped off at tanah merah also, and she disappeared as soon as I realized she took a glance at me when she was heading down the escalator. err, not literally 'disappeared' as that will be really scary. lol.
T.T - life just suck when reduced hope just turns out to have a different outcome. or probably I shouldn't be hoping to see anything at all at every second.

seems like I slept rather late last night and that is 3.30am. don't know why for that whole day I don't seem to feel sleepy at all until I try to close my eyes while on the sofa.
yesterday was the last test and I've got 92, not satisfied but that's me - it's my marks so be it. I just don't wanna compare and start an outrage of emotions all over.
then, we were supposed to go seoul garden to have buffet but end up only they went cause I do not have the appetite at that point of time.
tests ended but we have to work on our FYP this coming 2 weeks holiday, or probably 1 week only.
reached home at the usual time yesterday and started on games immediately. oh yeah before that while on the bus trip to home, I've realized I have managed to stop myself from looking around - no doubt it is possible. with thanks to all the discussions on how SG girls from younger generation fails. just hate how the cruel world works - it's like "good guys are antique while bad guys are the 'polished' goods" while girls are... ahem, not gonna say.
time flies until it seems somehow I didn't realize it was 12am already last night.

went out at 3.30pm then waited for the bus to come to bring me to simei and I reached around 4.10pm. after which I only saw zhihao and huiting present so I went to them and tell them I am going to top up my ez-link card first. then saw peiwen while I headed to the control station.
with the messages saying that denie and darren will be late, the four of us then went down to eastpoint ntuc to get some barbeque food and we bought hot dogs, otahs, crab meats, satay and marshmallow. also need to get some of the barbeque starter packs.
then after buying the stuffs, we waited for darren to come then we walked towards guan's house. with my sling bag filled with 2 thick textbooks and one camera, it's pretty heavy for my shoulder but good thing I'd train my shoulders up.
once settled down at guan's house, me and peiwen started reading our notes. lol. I feel it's rather bad time to do so. but anyways, that module was hard to revise since the notes doesnt seems to have anything 'major'. so after maybe half an hour? I gave up on revision and go about on helping them to start fire.. in which I did by fanning the charcoals.
called guan yu and asked where was he and he said he's still in school waiting for friend to finish their paper. zhihao then told me to ask guan yu to buy some food back, some food that is cheapest and that was roti prata, haha.
I took my camera out and took some pictures, then asked zhihao if he wants to take too. ended up he took more than me haha.
the first food we bbq was otah, it wasn't really thawed at first so the outcome of the cooked otah was kind of weird - meat was hard in the inside.
anyhow, once guan came back and followed by denie who came after guan, we settled outside the small table then peiwen and huiting became the cook for tonight. finished all food then we went inside for entertainments.
mahjong, poker, karaoke, camera - enough for all of us. then peiwen was still on her notes lol.
I played mahjong and it's good thing darren suggested that we don't use the chips. I rather play the game just for fun. then we only played 4 or 5 rounds then darren wanted to play poker. so I 'quit' lol.
then I went to karaoke and I tried to sing a few songs but I think my voice really doesn't come out good when it goes through all that digital signals - thanks to my weird throat probably.
peiwen went off at 10pm with zhihao fetching her to MRT. and time seems to even fly faster at that point. I also learnt a bit of poker and the game aint so difficult. it's just the winning hands that I need to know.
there's nothing much to describe after wards but instead I just be a small host and bring some water for them. me and huiting went off around 11.20pm and again zhihao fetch her to the bus stop.

yesterday was indeed a great day - but I will write about it when I have the time.
so today it's another module test, Network Management, and it ended quick enough. I got 80 for that - I don't know if that's a good mark but I do know that I couldn't score higher is because it's a god damn memory work based test. sigh. I really feel sad that I couldn't get 85 and above.
probably this time round I feel that my GPA will be dropping slightly, but hopefully not.
so, tomorrow's the last test which is TCP/IP. no doubt there's more memorizing work to do and I feel kind of tired. however, it's better not to bring up excuses cause that's NOT ME! and NEVER will I be that kind.

finally all the visual annoyances are gone on the games like L4D2, Borderlands and Assassin's Creed 2.
went to Corbell to RMA my card - good gracious they exchange a new one for me on the spot. this is such a cool service company. it's really unlike my old 8800GT where the first time I RMA the card, it took 3 to 4 weeks lol.
oh and the person said there was problems with the temperatures too (70 degree celsius in an air-conditioned room, T.T)
this card seems to have even better performance as compared to the previous defect one. +5FPS on borderlands at the same scene. ODD!

yet another drama which is based on a heart-touching fictionalized true story in Japan -
just finished watching the drama. the drama has been re-enacted by Kitagawa Keiko.
and it is really filled with words of heartfelt feelings.
once again Japan shows has never failed to make me shed tears. =')

sigh, my HIS Radeon HD 5770 is annoying me to the max.
initially, I noticed a few problems in some of the games when using this graphic card but I thought it was due to the drivers. so when Catalyst 10.5 came out, I installed that and played BFBC2 fine.
now that I am playing Assassin's Creed 2 and also hoping to continue playing Borderlands but the annoyances existed in these 2 games. flickering textures and shadows are the major problems. once it flicks, it's damn conspicuous (obvious) and it irritates really, with the thought that my 8800GT doesn't have such problem.
so I went on drivers hunt.. okay not really.. more like downloaded all the previous old drivers and tried - still giving same result. I also tried flashing the BIOS, still no difference. then I went to ask zongda and he told me to burn test the graphic card to check for errors - none. there are only 2 more options: RMA the card and reformat my desktop.
would probably try reformatting and see if there's any difference once MST ends, while waiting for the people from corbell to reply my email.
also, my graphic card idling temp has +6/8 since the date of purchase. wtf?

I would like to say again.......... time passes damn quick. this morning I read on a forum about OoBE - Out of Body Experience, where the soul basically travels into the astral plane while asleep. it's quite a religious thing so I probably won't bother so much and just to continue with my dreams.
talking about dreams, I have been dreaming a lot again lately. this morning was a dream where I actually traded in my Omnia 2 for some weird old phone. sounds weird if you ask me, cuz in reality it's not possible since old phones are $0!!!!! LOL! screw that, I want Samsung Galaxy S i9000.
anyways, tomorrow is the start of MST week with WIRELESS NETWORKING as the first paper. a new module which there are no past year papers for us to practice. seems like we are the guinea pigs. then after that will be OOP labtest.

omg, apparently singtel's Samsung Galaxy S i9000 ran out of stock. however, there's still a pre-order option.
no shit, is this phone that HOT?! lol. it's gone from just within a week.
hopefully when they next have it, the price is lower.

seems like my facebook is officially dead. probably I will just browse facebook on SgMobileDeals only. screw all those updates by people.
anyways, went to school for a wasted day. actually we have to work on our fyp but apparently nothing could be done due to lack of knowledge and there's not much else to do either.
it's time that I wake up, doing something meaningful rather than chasing after something which would never happen. (in this case, looking at girls and hoping that there would be nice returns)

samsung galaxy s AKA GT-I9000 with the same kind of name modelling as my current OMNIA 2 which is GT-I8000.
I am really really hoping to get this phone asap. but now, only Singtel seems to be selling it and the price is at $668 with 2-year plan/recontract. unless I am able to convince my dad to sign me up the $39 plan, I will not be able to get this phone cheap for now. hopefully the price will drop with the official launch of this phone on the 7th June.
the specs are godly for this era with:
